With the last Kernel 3.4 the sdcard is recognized and works well, it
takes a while to mount but he does it.
With the last iso live cd he works either.

New update, after restart the laptop after updating the kernel i had a
fisrt sdcard mount
Disk /dev/sda: 16.1 GB, 16139681792 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1962 cylinders, total 31522816 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
gmc1972, we would need you to test this issue in the Precise live CD:
http://mirror.as29550.net/releases.ubuntu.com//precise/ubuntu-12.04-beta2-desktop-i386.iso
and the mainline kernel in Oneiric:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.4-rc2-precise/
