Possible Lead to the Solution: But I have a got a lead to what it might be. The connection to the domain still exists, but I’m unable to login as a domain user. But if I try browsing into a Samba share folder in Nautilus, and I give the login credentials there(domain username, password), I get to open the files. And now If I choose to switch user, and try to login as a Windows domain user, I’m able to login.
