Thank you for your bug report. When testing on edgy with kde 3.5.6, it seems that the port number setting does not accept any number of 32769 or higher. Any positive number below this (1 = number = 32768) causes no problem, even when it has 5 digits. Can you confirm these findings? ** Changed

Similar bugs did exist upstream (but were marked fixed?): http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114316 indicates that only 4 digits can be entered like you described but that using the arrow the number could go as high as 32768. ** Changed in: kdebase (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None = kdebase --
