I sadly must confirm this bug which seems more to be a feature-bug.
I hope you will fix it to it's old behaviour because I really need this
at work. Currently I use 10.04 Desktop there but I planned to switch

It's not working in Intel Graphics as well. So for sure it's not a
graphics driver issue.

when mouse goes to lower right corner. Result: Only the windows of the
active workspace are shown.

A simple, yet powerful, function that saves me a fair bit of time. Now
missing in 12.04 :-(
