Fix. They are planning to remove libsdl-1.3 from Debian soon.

That may be the case, however preparing the debian scripts and providing
a temporary repository will help a lot... there is no dependency
differences between 1.3 and 2.0, so the only real change is the package
name and version number.

Hi, I just took a look at http://www.libsdl.org/ and it looks like the
current stable release is 1.2, but 2.0 will be released soon. Therefore
it sounds like it would be better at this point to just wait for 2.0 and
not bother with 1.3 which wasn't even actually released as far as I can
see.

However, The debian git repository for this package does install:

and with minor changes ( oulined at
