I don't know - I got 7.04 beta working by installing the server version then
installing X and Gnome over the top of it, so never tried installing the
final release. I'm applying updates as they become available. I'm still
having trouble with WiFi - while the card turns on and gets scan
Are there any problems in 7.04 final?

I've got an Acer Aspire 5024 WLMI which is quite the same laptop, excepting the
CPU ... and some other stuffs ... (3020 and 5020 series are very similar)
I've installed Feisty Fawn on my laptop and ran into the same problems :
X hngs up with a black (it should have been corrected but not ! S
OK, I will do my best to split it into sub-issues, though I'm not sure
which individual packages are directly affected.
