Re-install hung up while formatting partitions when I was trying to
partition the HDD by means of the installation disc. The system didn't
detect the HDD on restart.

Title:
  system doesn't detect the hdd since I quit formatting during re-
  installation for it  hung up  while formatting.              I wanted
