The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:

It is quite annoying and should be corrected quickly as it is the
typical kind of bug preventing from moving to Ubuntu from Windows.

It doesn't seem to cause real trouble here (feisty multiseat-system with
four seats; no problems while running dapper), but whenever a user logs
in, the following lines appear in

I've noticed the same behaviour with my Logitech DiNovo Desktop Laser:
After boot both mouse and keyboard don't react and the BUG at

After unpluggin and re-plugging the dongle, mouse and keyboard react
normally.

Note: The same keyboard/mouse combo worked perfectly fine in Edgy. I did
use different PC hardware though.

After boot, the Logitech MX5000 keyboard (bluetooth via usb adapter) does not
work. When pressing the connect button at the back of the keyborad, and the
connect button on the USB plug, it works after a few seconds.
I am using the latest versions from Feisty's Apt.
Attached output of:

This bug is not specific for kernel version 2.6.20-13-generic.
I have noticed the message BUG: at drivers/hid/hid-core.c:780 implement() in
dmesg for the first time several months ago, I think in august when I upgraded
from Dapper to Edgy (beta).
