* log into Ubuntu2D
* install nvidia-current-updates
* remove nvidia-current
* reboot and log into Ubuntu

[nvidia 295.40] compiz crashed with
I see this same issue on 12.04 with one of our computers that has been
running 11.10 without issue. No window decorations, and strange
behavior. I can logon using unity-2d, and it's fine.
