Same here. The link starts to open Konqueror (I see a splash screen),
but then Konqueror never makes it alive. When there is an open
Konqueror, it crashes also.
I've attached the contents of /var/log/dist-upgrade. It might show more
problems, but I will address those in a separate bug report...
The error in cleanup is fixed in the latest version in the archive.

I have the same problem here. An 'Error' dialog popped out and that
dialog has an 'Report Bug' button. Clicking on it, show the bouncing
Konqueror icon, but nothing happens. I also have configured text/html
page to open in firefox. This works fine when clicking on links in
KMail.
