Adam Drescher, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

For the past 3 months I was using a custom kernel (now based on 3.3.7
mainline kernel) and wifi was working. Today for project that I needed,
I removed this custom kernel and rebooted to the official ubuntu kernel
(3.2.0.29.46 witch is based on 3.2.24 mainline kernel). This

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.4kernel[1] (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once you've tested
the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag(Only

I downloaded the linux-headers.deb file from the v3.4-rc7-precise and
followed the installation instructions from the KernelMainlineBuilds ink
you sent.
After running sudo dpkg -i linux-
headers-3.4.0-030400rc7_3.4.0-030400rc7.201205122235_all.deb and
restarting, a new entry did not
As a temporary workaround disable wlan-N mode from your wifi card. This might
