Paganini: I understand you are a little frustrated, but we get a lot of bugs that we need to handle, but most of them are fixed upstream and then brought to Ubuntu in a newer release. Here I ask you to test the apha release because if the problem has been fixed, we can back-port that to karmic and that will fix this bug, if not then we need to work on it. Since Lucid is almost ready to come out (in April), there were thousands of bugs fixed in the upstream that are coming out in next release, therefore it doesn't make much sense to fix a bug that has already been fixed :) You just have to download the live-cd, put it in your system and see if the problem still exists. I'll also check upstream and see what I find about this bug. Until then this bug is incomplete because of lack of information regarding its status in lucid. status incomplete - -- Regards, Vikram Dhillon -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkuIuR0ACgkQcoBavQdRHcySbgCfcS+WOYFHa6CJ6AhhzfKkMMZR DZcAoLtgzjNLlSGVLXv8+96RquhzOH1y =d5L3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Invisible Pointer at boot - fixed by locking / unlocking screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/475665 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
