*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 752104 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/752104
Thank you for your attention to my error/bug issue. Like one other poster on the other report you referred me to, I have a persistent live USB version of Natty (actually, Lubuntu 11.04) running now now, as it was then. I see that poster resolved it by going to a "virtual machine." I'm quite interested in that option. Can you give me a pointer (URL?) to reliable info/source for a compatible one that will run a compact vsn of Ubuntu? Thanks again! (Lance, I'm copying you (BCC) on this one FYI. I would like you to also be on the lookout for a virtual machine boot option for Ubuntu; I will test it for us!) > Date: Wed, 24 Aug 2011 07:18:11 +0000 > From: 822...@bugs.launchpad.net > To: m81or...@msn.com > Subject: [Bug 822241] Re: update-manager crashed with SystemError in > mark_install(): E:Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. > > *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 752104 *** > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/752104 > > Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make > Ubuntu better.
