I like the words test drive.
Something that wouldn't scare me so much to try would be a menu like:
Ubuntu
- Test Drive Ubuntu (without any change to your computer)
- Install Ubuntu
- [other options]
- [...]
That's something I would try at my desk without fear of harming my
