intel driver need some more work in general.

compiz works but other apps don't have 3d acceleration in intel
wowowow. I'm so impressed with the progress on GEM and opengl
acceleration on the intel driver the last couple months. We're at
windows driver's speed now. Go Intel! Now just gotta work on
stability.
