But on Unity 2D there's no way to do drag and drop.

This is fixed in Unity, the issue is that there is a nice big black
square instead of a proper icon, but that is being tracked by another
bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/727675).
This is an important behaviour, why drop it from the milestone?
