Upstream seems to have updated their sources somewhere in 2002, while
the source shipped with debian/ubuntu seems to date from 2001. This also
seems to be true of debian unstable.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: slapd
slapd in Ubuntu Dapper (2.2.26-5ubuntu2.1) cannot be stopped with
"/etc/init.d/slapd stop", I need to "kill " it. I've discovered
that problem goes away if I chown dir /var/run/slapd to user ldap, since
I run slapd as user ldap (set in /etc/default/
Confirming. The package builds/installs fine.

Public bug reported:
Whenever I unplug a cd rom drive and plug it back in again, it gets
given a different name, so when it asks me to insert a CD into /cdrom/,
I can't because it's name's changed to something different (eg dvdrom).
This means that I can't install new packages or use dist-upgrade.

"hmm...
*if* that folder is the inbox, and *if* you have set the sent folder for that
account to inbox in "edit>preferences>mail accounts>edit>defaults>sent folder",
i can confirm this. otherwise, i see no chance at all for evolution to find out
this."
