After FURTHER investigation: this a gnome-power-manager problem. It
simply isnt refreshing -- cat'ing /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state several
times over a minute shows remaining capacity as decreasing but the

Erm, the traceback in your syslog has nothing to do with the bug you
reported - it's bug 62939. It doesn't sound to me like it could have
happened due to the sequence of steps you reported, although your report
does sound like a plausible location for a failure. Can you still

In my case it seems that gtkpod crashed only when the ipod is plugged
in. If the ipod is ejected then gtkpod loads and after mounting it reads
the ipod. Synchronising files does not work but gtkpod shows the
available disk space on the ipod.

Binary package xutils (edgy) should NOT depend on dapper versions of
imake (which depends on makedepend). As these packages do not exist on
the edgy repositories. They have been replaced by binary package:
xutils-dev

attached is a picture of my screen AFTER bootup, X11 and everything when
I switched back to tty1 using alt-F1
and if you have trouble reading what is on, it is because it is what the
bug is about. This start right when the message booting kernel... is
displayed.

I have encountered a probably related problem. I have a Samsung ML-
2152W (and my driver is postscript).
On the printer's panel, I have duplex off. From System Settings
application (from the main KDE menu), I selected my printer and disabled
duplexing.
Yet, any postscript document I printed
I am experiencing similar problems with KDE's control panel versus other
KDE apps. If I set duplexing in the control panel, it affects nothing.
If I set duplexing when printing from Konqueror, it affects EVERYTHING.
This is true whether I'm printing from an app that's aware of duplexing

The solution is to add --enable-sword_svn to ./configure. This has been
fixed in the svn a developer told me. There is a new problem but I hope
that I can fix it.
I will prepare updated packages if everything is working fine.
