Same thing, closing xchat, don't really see it crashing, but at the next
boot I got the crash message.
I suspect the fact that xchat is not entirely closed when I logoff the
machine.

I can confirm this problem on my HP compaq nc6320.
Probably related: when I close the lid of my laptop, keyboard and touchpad
don't react anymore when trying to resume normal operations. The only solution
is to shutdown the system by pushing the power the power button for 5s.

Start kwalletmangager and disable the wallet system in the settings dialog.
Then try to restart kmail and try again to store the password in the

I see the exact same behavior when playing a video file or a sound file
using totem. Totem starts, but after a second it locks up everything.
With sound files, you usually get about a half second of music before
the crash, but with video you typically don't get any output at all.

In the forums hanzomon4 says he can specify the directory using v0.2.2.
Could this update perhaps be applied? To my mind this is a bug, rather
than a lacking feature, as it has l10n implications.

BTW: Used to be a simple thing not to use kwallet a PITA to use it.
Now, it is even more of a PITA NOT to use it. Keep getting
notifications that kwallet system is not available and what do I want to
do. Well... I've muttered under my breath what I want IT to do... I'll
tell you that. :-\ lol

When I insert a usb drive nautilus pops up a file browsing window. It I
close that window as soon as it comes up then a nautilus process uses
all my idle cpu until I reboot or kill that process. Killing the
process seems to have no bad effects.
