Using Edgy, when I boot my system I get far more frequent fsck checks
than I ever used to on Dapperit seems to do it nearly every boot,
not every 30 or so mounts as it used to.

This bug may have been a hardware problem.
I used to have frequent lockups in my computer, then I disabled AGP 4x
(limit to 2x) in the BIOS and since then (a couple of weeks ago) I never
again had any kind of kernel problem.
So feel free to close if you want.
