I have got it, feisty fawn is working properly now, finally i installed
the grub on (hd0,1), that is on /dev/hda2 (typing (/dev/hda2) on
advanced options of install didn't work). So i didnt need to install
feisty in the primary partition i did in the second partition of the
first hard disk

after updating to Ubuntu Desktop 7.04 from 6.10, starting the ACPI
services during boot causes a segmentation fault on a Fujitsu-Siemens
Primergy Econel 50. Booting the machine with acpi=off works fine.

My uptodate Ubuntu is Dapper Drake because of its Long Term Support!
I have installed Feisty on VMware and tried out. Yes, the problem is still
there on feisty. You can try it with the printer HP Laserjet 5P, then switch
between the drivers ljet4 (recommended) and the two gutenberg drivers

Actually it's not the router. If I restart networking it works.

I've got a similar Macbook and I've noticed a similar thing.
If I enable the 'front' volume channel (normally disabled) then I get
stuff coming out of the right speaker - but this is not controlled by
the master volume control, it's completely separate.
I'll go through the debugging steps to see
this bug is fixed upstream (assuming last thread stack trace is
accurate)

I have the same problem on i386.
When running gksudo clamtk:
- on starting the app, it reported that the signatures were 27 days old.
- running HelpUpdateSignatures told me that signatures were up to date.
- quit gksudo clamtk
- started standard clamtk and was advised that signatures were 27

The link you send describe random issue about usb 2.0. I can't say if it
will help you or not. You need to test it your self. Try this
sudo modprobe -r ehci_hcd
this will disable your usb 2.0
and after this, attach your new dmesg
you already how to make dmesg ;)
