I can also confirm this is problem. Every time when I disconnect my USB

First of all, sorry for the late reply.
Normally the installer prints some debugging info in those files. So it might
very well be that some indication is saved in that file, even if the installer
didn't crash. Without those files, we can't really determine what's causing
this problem.

I see this pretty much all the time running Kubuntu Feisty on a ThinkPad T40
(Atheros-based 802.11a/b card):

Removable devices mounting
I have had a similar problem with only some (75%) of my bookmarks being
transferred. I have used the Firefox export/import method to resolve
this.

Reopening, as I have 2.19.4-0ubuntu3 and it doesn't work.
However totem-gstreamer seems to be fine:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg -L totem-gstreamer | grep keys
/usr/lib/totem/plugins/media-player-keys
/usr/lib/totem/plugins/media-player-keys/media-player-keys.totem-plugin
With the kernel 2.6.20-16-generic I still get the problem, and if I
rmmod ehci_hcd, it goes away.
