I had the same problem with clicking on a mounted CD on the desktop and
doing copy disk- it also waited forever and went over the number of
sectors it should have. I tried dd if=x of=y and that worked fine...and
quickly too. I saw that it used readom when trying to do copy disk.

Yes, PySol is somewhat a replacement for Aisleriot. Plus, it's iterface,
since pure Python, uses TkInter, which makes it not fit very good in the

Frankly, I feel a bit lost when speaking of sessions (I am just a bug triager,
not a Gnome developer).
So I began to google for 'gnome sessions' and got to:

I've worked around it using the command execution functionality in
kvpnc.
simply added the following commands to the Before Connect:
rm /bin/sh
ln --symbolic bash /bin/sh
and the following commands to the After Disconnect:
rm /bin/sh
ln --symbolic dash /bin/sh

kvpnc and openvpn doesn't
I've included a change for this in system-config-printer-0.7.78.
