For pt_BR the change of Julian calendar to Gregorian calendar should be
on 1582. Brazil was a colony of Portugal at the time, and Portugal

Same problem to me with Ubuntu 7.10. Before the update from Feisty
everything worked like a charm, but immediately after the update i can
write the wakeup time a thousand times to /proc/acpi/alarm, use or don't
use the poweroff - kernel, the machine sleeps forever.

original attachment plus a new entry to debian/changelog.

who originally posted this issue, has not responded back with his
computer specifications. But the next three contributors (Johan,
Necromancer, and Fabio Marzocca) all showed that they use this IDE
controller: nVidia

You're right. I was thinking of libpam-modules, but it won't work
anyway.
If compiled in a 32 bit environment, pam will look in /lib/security for
its modules, and this clearly won't work as the modules it'll find there
are 64 bit ones.
