Unfortunately I have changed my setup to use only one wifi card and
I'm no longer using my Linux machine as an access point so I can't
test it anymore.

the never option means that the software will never set your monitor to
power saving mode, but it seems that the hardware is doing that in your
case, did you try changing the bios options? are you sure than setting
it to 1 hour leads to the issue? why 11 minutes doesn't and 1 hour
should?
