By default the kernel driver mounts read-only, NTFS-3G read-write.

Hi, I notice a lot of us who have this problem are using a wheelmouse.
In my case it is an MS Intelli 1.2A PS/2 mouse with product ID 63618.
When changing the mouse the problem disappears. I have noticed that the
cable to this mouse is more thin/slim compared to other mice. Perhaps

I am not experiencing any missing icons, so I don't see how this issue

No, this bug doesn't seem to be critical. I only noticed the log output
on the console a couple days after it happened. There are a few things
I can try to reproduce it. I'll have a look through the logs on the NFS
client machines to see if there was anything interesting happening on

No need to remove them. It appears to be just one file,
xdg-desktop-menu-dummy.menu
which is pwned by root for some stupid reason. Just sudo chown -R
.config
and it will work.
