I experience this same behavior and can confirm also for the mozilla-
firefox-locale-de-de, -en-gb, and -sv-se firefox locale packs, version
2.0.0.7+1-0ubuntu4.

I tried the 2.6.27-kernel but it didn't help me (I didn't make a
thorough test just some minor). Anyway, now my function keys on my
Laptop doesn't work, my knowledge here is a little limited but do you
have any ide how I change it back? I have tried the normal Keyboard
layout settings in Ubuntu

I just installed alpha4 again, and if I choose safe mode the
installation screen is all garbled but not garbled enough so that I
can't get thru the complete install. After reboot, X boots properly and
I get a 1280x1024 screen that is not garbled, but is not the correct
resolution either.

So in hardy, can you try sudo modprobe sata_nv?

With the new kernel upgrade in Intrepid Ibex to 2.6.27-1 and -2 the boot
