In the BIOS the ACPI Suspend Type was set as S1 & S3.
ACPI APIC support is enabeled.
I changed the suspend type to S1, and no longer have the option to

I had the same problem. Glxinfo would crash and couldn't get compiz to
work till I checked the Xorg.0.log for errors. I found out that the
symbolic link to libglx.so was wrong! It pointed to an old driver which
was probably the Hardy package. I removed the symlink and made a new
symlink to libglx.

Looking at gimp 2.4.7 in intrepid alpha 6 the artifact is much smaller
than i your screenshot and only on the left side. I'm using the NewHuman

of libtool
For backwards compatibility (allowing the package to be libtoolized with
1.5) you may want to expand it as:
