Manuel, I agree with you. This bug was first reported in August. It's
hard to complain about something that's free, but I wish a network-
manager maintainer would at least comment on why it is taking so long to
fix this bug and give some estimate of when the bug will be fixed.

I finally had a chance to try it and displayconfig-gtk fixed the display
problem. I also booted up the release candidate version of crunchbang
and the display resolution problem is still there but unfortunately,
displayconfig-gtk is no longer available. The xorg.conf file is
attached.

Indeed, that is how I worked around the problem.
The system is running Intrepid. samba, samba-common and libpam-smbpass
are all at version 2:3.2.3-1ubuntu3.

Hm, after looking a bit more closely, it seems liblinuxsampler links to
libartsc, and the latter is GPL.
Looks like either libartsc needs to be released under the LGPL,
linuxsampler should be released under the GPL, or libartsc should be
removed from linuxsampler.

I have encountered the same problem installing mit-scheme on 8.10. As a
workaround, the libltdl3 package from Debian lenny seems to work just
fine when installed with GDebi; get it from
http://packages.debian.org/lenny/i386/libltdl3/download
I realise this is a bit of a cludge, but it works.

I guess you have xul 1.9.1 installed.
I'm seeing that too.

There's also a tiny problem in the two xul packages. the previous gre.d
files are not removed at the right time.

installing libgail-dev fixed the problem.
