Sorry, I did some test with the configuration above but without rebooting. When
I reboot resolv.conf becomes the original file without the domain name so I
figure out that this file is generated later.

My host file was incorrectly configured. I upgraded to Intrepid during
the beta period using the update-manager. I'm not sure if it was
correctly configured in hardy. I just stumbled upon this bug and checked
my configuration.
