Just testing Jaunty 9.04 alpha-2 with my Omnibook 6200. Problem still exists,
but I can make DRI and Powernowd work together by using p4-clockmode as advised
in bug #80459. Should this be enabled by default for Pentium-4 laptops? This
same hack works in Intrepid also.
I have installed latest Ub

Similar to bug 240962: after enabling the Nvidia driver in jockey and
rebooting, the screen resolution is set to something like 640x480, and
the screen resolution dialog doesn't offer a higher resolution. With the
nv driver it works correctly at 1024x786.

Public bug reported:
I use Intrepid Ubuntu, with Ati R280 (radeon 9250, 128MB). Everytime I
use a native openGL 3d game, like trigger, or briquolo, after a while,
my system freezes completely. Like, I can't restart X with CNTRL-ALT-
Backspace, nor can I go to a tty with cntrl-F1. I can only reset.
