time LTS have been really stable if we talk about wifi support.
Anyway, this bug is still in Jaunty Alpha 3 Live CD. I will try to

I had similar issue, I believe it was related to sqlite locks over NFS.
Creating /var/lib/nfs directory and restarting nfs-common service solved the
problem.
