Concerning gsmartcontrol, I do not see it for the moment on the Ubuntu
packages, it is not available in Synaptic and not listed in
http://packages.ubuntu.com/.

I also have the same problem. Address list worked for Gutsy but not on
any installations of Hardy that I have. When I click To:, and then
select Global Address List or Contacts from my exchange account it

This is a usability bug. Somebody looking for their hard drive in
places will not be inclined to search a removable media folder. I
can confirm this behaviour and I think it should be forwarded upstream

just reported version from mplayer --version.
However, there is no problem if I open media file (mp3..) or media
playlist (.asx) directly in Firefox. It seems that my problem's related

kernel asking for quirks to be added to the driver.

I can confirm this bug under intrepid. I had the same bug with several versions
of ubuntu (including feisty) but since intrepid its no working a all.
After a restart of the xserver the tabbing works again but not the left mouse
button.

Seems that when something is plugged into usb (at least with my Cowon U5), then
freezing occurs much more probably!
I have not seen it freezing anymore if nothing is plugged in. Long pauses are
still problem.
