I tried a fresh install of jaunty. The pam_mount works for my LTSP
server if I logon to the server (Active directory member (Likewise) and
the mount points show up for each user and unmount on logout), but for
the LTSP clients it does not work. I've opted out of the pam_mount
option for putting a

I can reproduce the behavior reported by rancor, but using an RSA
1023-bit key. I have never had problems with ssh-agent before I upgraded
to Jaunty. I can still login using ssh -i mykey, but never with ssh-

My experiences are as follows:

Logged into GNOME as a user
copy existing id_rsa file to ~/.ssh/ and do a chmod 700 on it.
(Keyfile being used here is 4096 bit RSA)
open terminal and issue the following:

I'm not sure what package this is a problem with, but I can say with
some certainty that it isn't kerberos-configs. This package only
provides the krb5.conf configuration to find the KDCs and do other
library initialization.
This sounds like a bug in the NFS v4 userspace processes, if I

this computer. As far as I remember I did a fresh install on Ubuntu 8.10

I can confirm this bug with mit my Lenovo R61. I can't establish new

Won't connect either here on a wpa-eap with ttls, tkip (no option at
all?) and pap without any certificate.
It says: connecting to xyz but the tray icon does not show this shiny
animation ;)
The patch from the ppa listed here does not work for my setup either.

But synaptic doesn't allow pinning by repository (a=testing) or by
origin (origin example.com). And using a symlink from
/etc/apt/preferences to /var/lib/synaptic doesn't work either (using my
preferences file from above).

After exploring a bit the available models choices in kernel source's
Alsa source code (a pity it seems undocumented besides the available
models listed in the source code), I tried in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-
base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=eeepc-p901

I used gnome-ppp (still wvdial, isn't it?) in jaunty to connect through usb
modem in japan.
cause i couldn't get it working with wizard from networkmanager. Maybe it's
because we cannot set up init string and stupid mode using that wizard from

At the moment, the window picker applet has a Preferences dialog with
exactly one preference: Show windows on all workspaces. The only thing
this achieves is putting that option two (maybe three) clicks further
away from the user.

Steps to reproduce:
Add Window Picker Applet to the panel. Right click and go to Preferences. Click
Close. Note that the close button vanishes but the preferences dialog is still
there. The only way to close the dialog is clicking
