I have a NextWindow touch screen which is not detected correctly by HAL.
I've got it to work by manually telling HAL to use the evtouch driver
for it, but it would be nice to get that in there automatically.

intrepid: gnome-screensaver help doesn't display correctly

I have fresh install of 9.04. I'm using the amd64 version. Everything in
the system is up to date. I've also used memtest86+ and everything is
ok.
Since install the system freezes right after restart then i make restart
of X (ctrl-alt-bakspace) and den it works normally
In what package the orbit dbgsym's are?
This is reproducible every time - also by changing month by arrow keys
or clicking on a day in another month. This makes the calendar unusable
for now, so i hope a fix or a workaround is found quickly. I'll try with
another user later. EDS also crashes.

Yes, it is slightly odd that the kernel is being configured while udev
is only unpacked here, but that isn't the real issue. 'update-initramfs
-u' may be called at any time, and it needs to work. (There is no
support in the packaging system for anything like your timestamp idea,
and I don't think
