Since I upgraded to linux kernel 2.6.31-7-generic, running losetup -e
aes256 (or mount -o loop,encryption=aes256) causes losetup (or mount)
not to return, and by running htop, I find that losetup (or mount) is

I think I have a workaround. I tried
sudo ispellconfig
and set the default language to English. Then restarted Kontact. It
seems to be fine now. Will keep checking, but this is a simple work

I am not surprised it isn't fixed. If you look in Ubuntu's forum, every
time anyone asks about VNC they get attacked with a bunch of people
telling them to use SSH instead. I guess many of the involved people
haven't realized yet that X forwarding or even FreeNX don't have the
same functionalities

I've a HP dv5 1073ez and I've installed the last Bios update F16.A.

This change is wrong for dh_pycentral, it breaks at least python-numpy.
+ Rename dist-packages/ to site-packages/ again, so that packages which
expect setup.py to install to site-packages/ and depend on that in
their dh_install

By the way, as workaround, modifying the values of my .config/user-
dirs.dirs fixed the bug.

Ever since gnome-volume-applet was deemed deprecated, it's replacement
gnome-volume-control has been acting strange. Odd crashes here and there

FYI, new upstream 1.6.0 available. Server team should subscribe to bug

Just spotted a slight error in my debdiff. I made my debdiff against
2.0.6-1ubuntu1, failing to notice the -ubuntu1.1 in hardy-updates.
I'll submit an updated patch/debdiff later today against -ubuntu1.1 if
someone else doesn't do so before hand.
