I won't have time to spend more time on that this morning.
I validated that this bug does *not* happen in that scenario:
- Install amd64 20090930.2 ISO (with 0ubuntu12)
- manual registration
- upgrade to 0ubuntu13
I also validated that this bug doesn't occus in that scenario:
- Install i386
Can we have two packages.
One that works with CPUs that support kvm, and one that works with CPUs that do
not support kvm, e.g. with kqemu instead.
I think it is sensible to assume that all new CPUs will support kvm, so that
handles the physical memory 3.5GB issue.
But, for older CPUs, that do
Confirmed as well on a ISO-with-ubuntu12 install, upgraded to
-0ubuntu13. NC won't get polled until you restart eucalyptus.

I'm sure that we can get this fixed. Theres just some thing different
in the initramdisk created in the chroot with the -virtual flavour of
the kernel and on with the -server flavour on real hardware. It seems

Thanks for that script. It seems to have solved this problem for me as
well. I needed the DHCP server to be usable in a headless server where
no one is there to log in and use some of the other workarounds people
used.
Like others, I wish we did not have to do it this way and still
problem seems to be fixed now (alpha6 an beta), sorry for the delay-

directly visualize with Firefox any html file in /var/www/*, a blank
page displays instead. If I move the html file to another directory (ie.
/home/me/) it works fine.
