I also noticed that volume level in front-left channel is about three
times lower than in front-right channel. This happens with my 5.1
soundcard (usb device) and with my laptops integrated stereo soundcard

I can confirm this... I paired my jawbone 2 but when setting my input
and output to jawbone in sound preferences I get no audio... in or out
