ubuntuone-client-applet crashed with IOError in
Sorry for the spam related to this bug, I've the latest version of
Ubuntu and I have the same error whilst adding a google address book in
Evolution Mail. I added the correct password and the correct user
(without @gmail), hit the ssl box, and I still get the initial error
which was posted here...

This is strange. I have a different kernel version installed than the
one shipped with Jaunty (installed kernel 2.6.29.1 and 2.6.30.8 from
kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline) and those are not reducing the
boot lag with this change. The stock kernel however, reduces my boot
from 18 seconds

I tried to track down the problem, and as it seems to be font rendering
(glyph cache), I tried a few options there.
The problem is only reproducible when

Using Ubuntu 9.10 beta 64bit running on a USB pen drive. My system is an Acer
laptop with a AMD Turion64, 1,5 Gb RAM, ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 128 Mb. Xorg
eats up 100% of CPU since booting throughout the session.
Im almost sure it didnt happen with the alpha6 release.

Sorry, I was wrong. It looks for covers, but not for all. For example,
it can get cover for Deerhunter, but not for Placebo Meds or Radiohead
Kid A. So strange. I mean Placebo or Radiohead much more popular than
Deerhunter or Dosh. I'am not sure there is no covers in discogs for
them.

I have a Canon SD 550 which Ubuntu recognizes by its European name,
Digital Ixus 750 (PTP mode). I did experience this bug for a while, but

The already cpu intense flashplugin has become unusable after i upgrade to
karmic beta1.
While playing a flash video (in Firefox or Chrome), the cpu goes to 100% and

text communication with 3 communication partners. On the next day the Empathy
contact list did not show any communication partner names. Instead it reports:
