I can't see that this is anything to do with the Ubuntu website
actually. The two possible causes appear to be (a) firefox, or (b)

I'm also getting crashes when I use my HSDPA modem the whole system just

A reproducable hang for me (with adblock plus installed) is to visit
pingtest.net
This happens even if adblock is turned off (via it's menu - the add-on still
enabled).
Disabling the add-on stops firefox hanging.
$ apt-cache policy adblock-plus

Try this workaround:
sudo dpkg --force overwrite -i
//var/cache/apt/archives/libgnomekbd4_2.28.0-2ubuntu1_i386.deb
See if it works.

Well the problem is a have 4 gigs of memory, and as you can see in my
screenshot my system has never used since i built it any swap memory.
The second point is that nautilus is using 2.2 gigs of memory: isn't
that unusual that with only one nautilus window opened it is using so
much memory? and

I also have a similar problem. I cannot connect to any wireless network
protected or not!! Network manger asks the wep key, i type it, tries to connect
and in a few seconds asks for the key again! It also asks for the key even I
have disabled the key security from my router! (free wireless)
I am still getting this problem in 9.10 (amd64)
