After clearing the system I installed openshot and went on these errors.
a) python-mlt (the new one) is installating the mlt-things in directories
called .../mlt/
These directory istn't set up in the installation by installing openshot

I have 32-bit ubuntu (I realise this isn't relevant, but I don't want
people to get the idea it is a 64-bit problem).
The killer on my own system was bind - when it didn't start all my
custom services on the system were completely wrecked. I am surprised
bind9 wasn't mentioned by anyone else...
This does not exist in lucid. I purged empathy then deleted
.conf/empathy .gconf/empathy and .mission-control then reinstalled
empathy and there was no account. it rather asked me if i wanted to
import anything from pidgin/create any new account

Luke's, in that plymouth starts (and prompts for a passphrase) in the
initramfs.
I haven't tried the proposed change to drop the printf line from the
initramfs script.

removed all accounts inside the program
sudo apt-get remove empathy --purge
sudo apt-get remove telepathy-*

started empathy and there where no accounts left.

i didn't felt problems with this bug.. and maibe i wownt... (after readiong the

The problem seems comming from dependency issu.
When you select ocs-ng for installation there's no dependency for
intalling mysql-server.
So you have to install mysql-server before installing ocs-ng-server and

Hi,
I was watching a lecture (2h30min) in VLC on speed 1.7. Yes, this may be a
problem with VLC but the system as a whole stopped/froze and I could not do
anything but restart the computer by holding in the power button. After
trying again, it seems that if I switch from VLC (while it is playing)
