9 times out of 10 on this PC, the boot process fails with a null pointer
dereference in DRM.
It boots as far as a login prompt and I can login but the whole system hangs
within a few minutes.

Actually, I'm not so sure that it is a filtering problem, since I now
reproduced the inifinite receiving behavior without the filtering
process. I activated some filters, though. This only happens with one of
my pop accounts (can't see which one it is).

So Do I... The UI is very important and if we want Ubuntu to gain more
popularity, problems like this should be fixed urgently. Even that
crappy OS , windows 7, has a nice interface with no bugs. A home user

Charles, this is exactly what I did in the first place. Clean install of
Ubuntu 10.04 Server, then upgrade to -22-server kernel. More often than
not the system would not come up correctly, as described above.

It looks like this is not a F-spot error, but a libgphoto2 one. I tried
installing gthumb and it can't read the D300s camera either. It reports An
error occurred in the io-library ('Unspecified error'): No error description
available.
What is also interesting is that the trick of having both CF
Nautilus changed in Lucid to use tracker for searching if it's installed
(previously it was a build option that we disabled). Anyway, closing

Having selected the chart in the spreadsheet, I expected to be able to
print it. NO. I mucked around for half an hour trying to find how to
print the chart. I even tried copying and pasting to a word

I have no $no_proxy setting, and having the correct proxy settings in
apt.con and bash.bashrc. also set my proxy in systempreferencesnetwork
proxy and in synaptic. The only thing I have working is firefox.

Bug reproduction:
-1- Add NTFS disk to your machine, plug an usb ntfs partitioned usb disk or
make new NTFS partition on your disk and copy files there, that you dont care
to lose.
-2- Open Totem media player and show playlist window
-3- Open Nautilus with disk data from that NTFS
You don't need to use virtualmachine with XP. You can run VisualVM on
64bit Ubuntu. Just download VisualVM 1.2.2 from
