indicator applet behaviour. Is of my understanding that you/we are
changing from the previous RedHat's notification area applet to
Canonical's one, which will bring some problems during the transition.

Changing the options improved the audio quality, but for a looong time I was
unable to record nice audio with compiz enabled. Even a powerful computer, with

I believe this could be related to bug #74279 that I have been complaining
about for some time. I tried the above commands with my Nikon D300s with just
the CF card installed (causes F-spot to fail) and the first time I ran the
command I got this:
