Just a quick follow up on how the /debian in the linux-rt source tree
went missing - it gets cleaned out when your run a 'make distclean'. So
I guess the fundamental problem all along is mixing kernel.org style
kernel building with debian kernel building.

intelligence. If fixed I would have reported. Just upgraded to 10.04 LTS
version and slide show.pps now works. No hang up and black screen.

Likely this is an upstream issue that wont get resolved without some
specific DSDT or interrupt hackery targeted to this feature.
Since this is currently the only(?) way to make use of the discrete
nvidia gfx card on these machines, it would be nice to figure out what

Same problem after updating here today.
when running bash, i got a message a little different:

themselves, and upon doing so, a context menu pops up that allows you to

I can not verify this for myself since the accounts dialog will no
longer allow me to finalize the adding of a facebook account (no Add or
Cancel buttons showing after the authorization process). Off to look for
my new problem in launchpad.

I don't know about the original poster, but I do not think this bug is
fixed as of 10.04 final, because I am having the same problem as of June
12th 2010. I'm using Lucid, in a fresh install from the AMD64 alternate
