Thanks for uploading your -maverick-20100710-1.tgz file.
When I look in it the proc_ps.log ends with a line half written, and
proc_stat.log and proc_diststat.log are both empty.
My guess is that the bootchart logger crashed randomly for some reason.

i just installed the latest download of ubuntu last night and once I
inserted CD into my DVD drive scenario 1 did not even occur. No nothing

It affects me - on a dual processor it causes about roughly full use on

Sorry guys, some more information. Having just today re-checked it out, I can
advise that for Ubuntu and LinuxMint, you also need gstreamer LAME plugins etc
installed, most easily achieved by adding ubuntu-restricted-extras, which I am
in the habit of always doing, if only to get MicroSoft Core

terminal. Instead, switch to VT1 (Ctrl+Alt+F1) and run the following commands:

I've got a dual monitor configuration (not xinerama) and, since i installed the
second monitor, this bug we're talking about always happened on the left one
(the principal).

Suspending from a VT with pm-suspend works well.
Suspending from xorg using the GUI hangs the system on VT1. I have no
flashing lights n the caps-lock when the hang happens.
Should I also test suspending from xorg using pm-suspend inside gnome-terminal?
