Now abou xorglog i dont know how to post that i dont i dont know what

Confirmed this on an eMachines eM350, which is a rebranded Acer Aspire
One 532 (as Acer owns eMachines now). Whilst boot is fast, it blinks out
after loader and I go pretty much straight to the login screen. Used the
newest kernel, 2.6.32-24-generic, and same issue still occurs. Using
Ubuntu 10.04
On a quick check I see that the bug is fixed. Can someone confirm
please?

I am affected too - I have the same problem with Virtualbox 3.2 in
Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, need USB to use my Visioneer scanner and Paperport
software and was somewhat disappointed when reading this discussion. I
had added my user to the Virtualbox group and tried to get usbfs running
to no avail.

So after all, developers believe that cairo has evolved into a right direction
and leaving certain software incompatible with it.
This being said, if it is accepted that software left incompatible (like NVidia
proprietary drivers) there is no need anymore to regard this as a bug in
gtk-themes
