Maverick ati xorg freeze booting with external monitor
It's still a problem on maverick alpha 3. In fact, not only are the
above problems occuring, but I also could not get aptitude install
pkgs to install from the cd. It kept complaining that it couldn't
find the files. I finally had to cp all the debs to
/var/cache/apt/archives and then aptitude
As far as I know, there is no one working on this right now. From the
translations side, what we can do is to give advice on the solution:
All Ubuntu packages in main and restricted need to create a .pot file
(also called template) during the build process. That allows
translations to be imported

Alright I got it to add my facebook account, and in the attached .txt
file at line 151 is where it hung at for 10 minutes until I chose quit
from the gwibber menu since it was not pulling in any of the Facebook
stuff.

While debugging another issue I noticed that a full user name like: David br
Pezi span
is misinterpreted by gnome-screensaver as '%R'.
I'll test this on maverick alpha 3 and will report it upstream if it persists.

I confirm it.
1. open indicator near notification area.
2. hover over notification area icon, go away and then again come back to hover.

I have the same problem..the pointer is not visible but the pad is still
usable..if using the previous version of the kernel (the one .12),
everything works..Maverick with the video card Intel i8..

I can send messages with gwibber, but messages that I send with gwibber,
or messages that I write on my own wall on Facebook do not get updated
in gwibber. Here is the log from when I sent the message with gwibber,
and tried to refresh gwibber several times to receive new messages from
Facebook.
I set the status to new since last information have been given. Hope all
is here to help to debug.

kernel BUG at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.32/fs/ext4/extents.c:1716 makes most
programs freeze few minutes after boot
Incrementing ICNTL(14) one by one results in ever decreasing values of
INFO(2) in the error return case, down until 40 if the ICNTL(14) line
is changed to +=44. When going to += 45, the test case succeeds
without error.
All this doesn't look like a compiler problem to me, just a
configuration
