When I boot my server, it doesn't broadcast netatalk services. I have to
manually restart avahi with:
restart avahi-daemon
Once I do this, the server shows up instantly in the Finder of my Mac.

This bug also happens to me, and it happens all the time. I have now my
own contact in my contact list and can't remove it. Here is my butterfly
log. I cleared it before reproducing the bug, so it's the first lines
that refer to the bug.

This bug is also found in the Sharp MX-M550N, with the HP LaserJet 6
CUPS driver solving it, although I can't vouch for anything other simple
