Ok, my problem was solved. After the upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04
/etc/mysql/my.cnf wasn't replaced by new config (I'm not exactly sure
what is different between them). After update of conf file mysqld
started runing again and there was no problem with upgrade to newest
version.

In my case it was related to some output when running interactively.
Open a terminal and do:

Using /home as suexec docroot is a big no-no from a security point of
view. It will create local privilege escalation vulnerabilities in many
situations. If you don't want to use /var/www you should probably use
directories under /srv.

Since encountering the issue, I started using the Telepathy PPA in which
I no longer encountered it. Also I have since upgraded to Maverick so I

I have a similar bug to this but it only appears on my S-Video out.
Whenever I run a hardware accelerated game I get heavy graphic
corruption on the TV-out on my laptop. It worked under 9.04, but not
here.

I just understood why the console #3 was popping up all the time. That
brings two newbie questions:
- why is nothing done if all no console could be obtained? IMHO the
