[Bug 580590] Re: Squid no longer uses $SQUID_MAXFD

2010-09-15 Thread Tim Nicholas
Fix Released? I can't see anything that looks like a fix. Can someone
post a link? Maybe I'm just not working launchpad properly.

As Rober Fischer The maxfds() subroutine needs to be in the 'script'
section...

Or something like

limit nofile 65536 65536

could be added above 'expect fork'.

I've attached my working /etc/init/squid.conf

** Attachment added: A working (for setting file descriptor limits) version of
/etc/init/squid.conf

[Bug 638708] [NEW] Cannot start as logged in user

2010-09-15 Thread Michiel Hendriks
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: tomcat6

The init.d script contains the following:

start-stop-daemon --start -u $TOMCAT6_USER -g $TOMCAT6_GROUP \
-c $TOMCAT6_USER -d $CATALINA_TMPDIR \
-x /bin/bash -- -c $AUTHBIND_COMMAND $TOMCAT_SH

Which prevents tomcat6 from starting as a user which is already logged
in using a bash shell.

Changing the -x /bin/bash to point to a unique symbolic link to
/bin/bash fixes the startup script.

[Bug 638738] [NEW] Enable portlet API in commons-fileupload

2010-09-15 Thread Thierry Carrez
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libcommons-fileupload-java

Late in Maverick we discovered that commons-fileupload (main) FTBFS due
to its new dependency on libportlet-api-2.0-spec-java (universe), see
bug 635895.

Since libportlet-api-2.0-spec-java build-depends on a lot of other
universe packages, it was too late to push these changes in Maverick,
but we should definitely look into properly filing MIR for them in
Natty, and restore portlet API support. This might be part of a bigger
Java natty MIRs spec to clean up our gap with Debian.

2010-09-15 Thread Thierry Carrez
Hm, so it looks like several issues combined into one bug.

1- You started experiencing CIFS mount issues, due to error -1 (Unknown
error 18446744073709551615) opening credential file
/home/imota/.smbcredentials

2- You updated/reinstalled samba but that failed, due to a missing
/etc/samba/smb.conf. Following advice from somewhere else, you fixed
that, so now Samba is clean.

3- You now have another error (cifs filesystem not supported by the
system).

Error (3) looks like you're now missing the cifs-utils package (which
provides mount.cifs). Could you check if that package is installed ? If
not, please install it and tell us if the credentials issue persists.

This is entirely about php5's build tests not working as we add
restrictions in the apparmor profile of mysql.

While it was introduced by a change in mysql's behavior, it is something
we'll have to fix in PHP's build process.

[Bug 590929] Re: [SRU] eucalyptus create and delete volumes sometimes fail on lvm commands (POC + ENT configs)

2010-09-15 Thread Sylvain Pineau
I've performed a full re-installation of the frontend as requested.
Before any tests or registration, I've updated all eucalyptus packages to
1.6.2-0ubuntu30.4.
I've also adjusted cluster1.storage.maxtotalvolumesizeingb in the web front end
(set to 250).

I did 10 test loops (as usual creating 40 volumes).

+ No Internal Errors were reported.
+ Space available and # of volumes correctly reported in sc-stats.log
 + Deletion worked perfectly

But I found one (just one) failure reported by euca-describe-volumes, 10
seconds after the creation loop :
VOLUME vol-526005D5 1 cluster1failed
2010-09-15T17:00:32.7Z

A few seconds later, euca-describe-volumes didn't report anything about
this failure, weird. But I had only 39 volumes created.

This is what was reported in cloud-error.log:

[Bug 579857] Re: automount and auto.smb not working

2010-09-15 Thread Chris Bainbridge
I did the following and it works:

apt-get install autofs smbfs smbclient
echo /smb /etc/auto.smb /etc/auto.master
mkdir /smb
/etc/init.d/autofs restart
ls /smb/buffalo/share (buffalo is a samba host, share is the share name -
replace with local details)

Initially this was not working for me, since I did not have smbclient
installed and it is called by auto.smb.

[Bug 419182] Re: KVM and audio driver in Windows 7

2010-09-15 Thread Zhang Weiwu
As I do have a physical ES1370 sound card I want to share my experience.

1. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Advanced Home Edition, Windows
notified it tried but cannot find a driver for it.

2. I tried to go to Device Manager and ask for a driver update, selected
to let windows choose the right driver on internet. It prompts fail to
find any driver.

3. Google on the Internet finds multiple website offering download of a
driver whose file name is creative_es1370_60_win7.rar and titled
ES1370/ES1371/ES1373 driver for Windows 7 version 6.00, which doesn't
work for me. Examples:

http://download.pchome.net/driver/hardware/sound/download-100249.html
http://driver.cnd8.com/qudong/13203.htm
( both site checks HTTP head referral thus I cannot give direct download link.
But on the later site, the download link is easy to find without reading
Chinese, look at lower left column of the page where there is a column of 3
anmiated download icon, any one of these icon should work.)

It confuses me that the driver is not offered on English websites but I
only found them on Chinese sites.

Download the driver, unpackage it to a folder, in Device Manager I
update driver and specified location of the driver, Windows 7 prompts me
no driver was found in that place.

Open the .inf file in the drvier package it is obvious this is a generic
driver for almost a hundred different models of sound cards.

Conclusion: still no clue of a working driver of ES1370

The wiki page on http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Sound suggested Windows 7
should find the driver by itself from the Internet, but the driver
constantly crash. It is not true in my case. My Win7 cannot find the
driver by itself, although, there is a chance it work without crash
thanks to the physical device in presence.

[Bug 638238] Re: Error mounting CIFS shares

2010-09-15 Thread Iwan Mota
Hi Thierry,

Thank you for the quick response.

I checked for cifs-utils and could not find it as a valid package for my
distro (Lucid 10.04). I did a quick man mount-cifs, first line of
description says:

This tool is part of the samba(7) suite.

So I ran a quick dpkg --get-selections:

 dpkg --get-selections | grep samba
libsamba-hostconfig-dev install
libsamba-hostconfig0install
libsamba-util-dev install
samba install
samba-commoninstall
samba-common-bininstall

So it looks like I have all the samba-related packages installed.

[Bug 639595] [NEW] updating kvm overwrites /etc/qemu-if{up, down} scripts

2010-09-15 Thread a_ok
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kvm

Ubuntu-Server 10.04LTS
kvm: 1:84+dfsg-0ubuntu16+0.12.3+noroms+0ubuntu9.2

The /etc/qemu-if* scripts are meant to be changed. I made it so that
above a certain number a different switch (bridge) is used.
unfortunately this is overwritten on updating the package. It should be
a .dpkg-dist file instead of overwriting.

[Bug 184525] Re: awstats doesn't update

2010-09-15 Thread Fernando
Hi!
I'm running apache2 on Ubuntu Server 10.04.

Looking at /etc/cron.d/awstats I can see that awstats runs as www-data:
# cat /etc/cron.d/awstats
0,10,20,30,40,50 * * * * www-data [ -x /usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -a -f
/etc/awstats/awstats.conf -a -r /var/log/apache2/access.log ]
/usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -config=awstats -update /dev/null

But, permissions on /var/log/apache2 are insufficient to let awstats do it's
job:
drwxr-x--- 2 root adm apache2 (others can't access to that directory)

IDEM with the access.log file:
-rw-r- 1 root adm access.log (others can't access to that file)

One possible solution is to run the awstats cron job as root. Other
possible solution is to change files and directories permissions. Both
with unknown security impacts.

[Bug 375371] Re: MySQL must not use /tmp

2010-09-15 Thread Clint Byrum
Hi Jamie, I did think of that, though I'm glad you brought it up as I
should have mentioned it.

The build portion of a package must be runnable as a non-root user.

The whole point of using /var/tmp/mysql and not the user-tmp abstraction
is that it is only accessible by the mysql user. So we can't mkdir or
write files or anything as a non-root non-mysql user in that directory.
We can't rely on any privilege elevation of any kind in the build step.

It shouldn't be hard to fix all of the affected builds. We might even
want to provide a package just for testing that puts mysqld somewhere
else.

The two places that I know of that run /usr/sbin/mysqld for their own
tests (php5, and the version of libdbi-drivers in debian) run it as part
of the build step.

Digging through the package listings, I only see two others that build-
depend on mysql-server:

akonadi

and

digikam

I haven't reviewed their build process to see why they depend on mysql-
server, but I think thats a reasonably sure way of knowing that those
are the only packages affected.

[Bug 453653] Re: [karmic] libvirt fails to list node devices

2010-09-15 Thread flashydave
To answer janusz comments -
To reassign IRQ's etc you need:
(Recompiled) Kernel with
CONFIG_DMAR=y
CONFIG_DMAR_DEFAULT_ON=y

To check your available kernels:
grep DMAR /boot.config*
If you look at other launchpad entries you will see there has been discussion
on this so it might have been resolved already.
Sadly Maverick Beta does not have it set.

Apparmor set up as follows:
/etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/libvirt-qemu needs to contain

# required for IRQ remapping with PCI Pass Through
capability sys_rawio,
# For hostdev access
/sys/devices/ r,
/sys/devices/** r,

At the risk of me too, this bug affects me because I have to run

[Bug 628055] Re: Instances don't start correctly: Security Labeling error running aa_change_profile()

2010-09-15 Thread Thierry Carrez
It's an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6670, running an i386 server
install, trying to run an i386 instance.

I don't have a domain.xml, euca must be destroying it on error, or it
never gets created. Same machine running an amd64 server install, trying
to run an i386 instance, works perfectly. That's why I'm even wondering
if libvirt/i386 is working, at this point.

[Bug 627723] Re: package mysql-server-5.1 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

2010-09-15 Thread Alain Vandendorpe
I'm encountering a similar enough problem that I think it is the same.
Fresh Ubuntu 10.04 server, installing mysql-
server-5.1_5.1.41-3ubuntu12_amd64.deb (and dependencies) from official
repos, the install seemed to work but mysql doesn't start. 'start mysql'
just shows start: Job failed to start

On the other hand, `sudo -umysql /usr/sbin/mysqld` starts it with no
errors. How can I better troubleshoot the service's issues?

[Bug 639712] [NEW] PCI Pass Through via libvirt cannot remap IRQ's

2010-09-15 Thread flashydave
Public bug reported:

Trying to allocate a hardware device (telecoms card) using virt-manager results
in errors - most frequently (but not exclusively)
a) Errors claiming IOMMU cannot be found even though the hardware is VT-x and
VT-d capable and BIOS has it enabled
b) Failed to assign irq for hostdev0: Operation not permitted
Perhaps you are assigning a device that shares an IRQ with another device?
and
c) PCI region 0 at address 0xe520 has size 0x100, which is not a multiple
of 4K

Tried with versions of Lucid and Maverick. Currently using
0.8.3-1ubuntu9

Investigation showed that
i) The kernel does not have DMAR enabled even on Maverick Server.
ii) apparmor profile does not have the right settings
iii) Updates in qemu-kvm git repository which handle small I/O windows havent
yet been incorporated in a release

Investigation showed there to be several problems (which perhaps could gave
been documented somewhere)
To fix this successfully it was necessary for me to undertake the following:
a) recompiled the kernel with
CONFIG_DMAR=y
CONFIG_DMAR_DEFAULT_ON=y
CONFIG_GART_IOMMU=y

b) recompiled qemu-kvm from git source
c) Added the following to /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/libvirt-qemu
# required for pci passthru
capability sys_rawio,

# For hostdev access.
  /sys/devices/ r,
  /sys/devices/** r,

You could argue that the small PCI Memory problem was very card specific
but given that Ubuntu claims the Server version is ready for
virtualisation under KVM and that technology supports VT-d and PCI Pass
Through there should be a suitable kernel version and apparmor profile
that supports it available.

Re: [Bug 627723] Re: package mysql-server-5.1 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

2010-09-15 Thread K2JO
Hi Serge,

Since i could not uninstall, i could not reinstall, and i could not upgrade,
I decided to be bold and break the installation much more severely in the
hope that it would trigger a more effective repair/reinstall.

I renamed /usr/bin/mysql; /usr/bin/mysqladmin; /usr/lib/mysql;
/usr/sbin/mysqld; /usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi; /usr/sbin/mysqlmanager

Restarted the computer.

Immediately it ran the package manager and reinstalled the mysql
package.

Problem solved, and no additional configuration was required to return the
SugarCRM or other mssql dependent packages to full operation.

Best regards,

Duncan

[Bug 375371] Re: MySQL must not use /tmp

2010-09-15 Thread Jamie Strandboge
I'm slightly confused. These build tests are using an installed, live
mysql server and create temporary files somewhere in such a way that
mysqld needs to read them?

If that is the case, then maybe we could add to the mysqld profile something
like:
  owner /var/tmp/mysql/** rwkl,
  owner /var/tmp/mysql/* rw,
  /var/tmp/mysql-buildtests/** r,
  /var/tmp/mysql-buildtests/ r,

Then do:
# mkdir -m 0770 /var/tmp/mysql
# chown mysql:mysql
# mkdir -m 1113 /var/tmp/mysql-buildtests
# chown mysql:mysql /var/tmp/mysql-buildtests

This should allow any user to write to anything in /var/tmp/mysql-
buildtests, after which testsuites can invoke mysqld with the proper
arguments for tmpdir being /var/tmp/mysql and reading specific files in
/var/tmp/mysql-buildtests. The idea is that under normal circumstances,
mysqld would ignore /var/tmp/mysql-buildtests/, but in the face of an
attack both DAC and AppArmor prevent writing to /var/tmp/mysql-
buildtests. We use the weird '1113' permissions on /var/tmp/mysql-
buildtests to create a sticky directory to allow 'other' to create files
in the directory, but mysql can only read from this directory. DAC
prevents regular users from reading /var/tmp/mysql. This should mitigate
bug #578922 while allowing for test suites to run.

It would be great if others could review my suggestion.

[Bug 639639] Re: euca-* commands stopped responding

2010-09-15 Thread Dmitrii Zagorodnov
It appears to be an out-of-memory error. It would help us track it down
if the CLC ran with --debug flag. I don't know how long your run
takes, but would you be able to re-run the experiment with the flag
added? (Having it in there for these QA runs is a good idea in general.)
Thanks, Carlos!

[Bug 628055] Re: Instances don't start correctly: Security Labeling error running aa_change_profile()

2010-09-15 Thread Jamie Strandboge
Can you disable the AppArmor driver and see if it works there? This can be done
by adjusting /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf to have:
security_driver = none

Then restart libvirt-bin with:
$ sudo stop libvirt-bin
$ sudo start libvirt-bin

Verify the AppArmor driver is disabled with (don't worry if it takes a few
seconds to finish):
$ virsh capabilities | grep -A2 -B1 apparmor

When the driver is enabled, you will see:
secmodel
  modelapparmor/model
  doi0/doi
/secmodel

otherwise, you won't.

[Bug 639768] Re: Samba process gets hung on maverick update

2010-09-15 Thread johny
Update:

To solve the problem you need to stop samba service manually with sudo
service smbd stop, then to get back to the terminal, stop the command
by pressing ctrl+c.

[Bug 375371] Re: MySQL must not use /tmp

2010-09-15 Thread Clint Byrum
No! These build tests start their own private mysqld as the user running
the build step, not as mysql.

Further, that mysqld needs to be able to write to the directory during
these tests, so the readonly restriction would prevent that.

To be fair, if they build-depend on mysql-server-core, and not mysql-
server, then the apparmor profile won't get loaded on cleanroom builds,
and so there is no need for any of this.

But its fairly simply to rebase mysqld and get it to run outside the
apparmor profile for private build tests.

Here is my proposed fix for the PHP issue for instance:

[Bug 617053] Re: on upgrade from 1.6.2, euca_upgrade should preserve DISABLE_ISCSI=Y

2010-09-15 Thread Dmitrii Zagorodnov
You are right that we don't preserve the actual setting, but rather
preserve the use of AoE for EBS if you are upgrading instead of
forcing you to switch to iSCSI, which is the default for a fresh 2.0
installation. That `sed` statement, which is only executed if you are
upgrading, essentially changes the 2.0 default back to 1.6.2 default.

[Bug 375371] Re: MySQL must not use /tmp

2010-09-15 Thread Jamie Strandboge
/var/tmp/mysql-buildtests was intended to be the location for mysql to
read from, but still use --tmpdir /var/tmp/mysql. Based on your comment,
this isn't going to work anyway because of the permissions on
/var/tmp/mysql and running as non-mysql. Additionally, in discussing
this with mdeslaur, I've come to the conclusion that adjusting the
profile for the testsuite is the wrong approach anyway since it does
cover the chained attack of sql injection - file - include in php, but
does not cover the other way around. Therefore, I don't see any other
option than to use a mysqld not confined by AppArmor for these private
build tests.

This said, it is vitally important that the QRT test-mysql.py is run
before upload.

[Blueprint groupware-server] Groupware Server

2010-09-15 Thread Frans van Berckel
Blueprint changed by Frans van Berckel:

Whiteboard changed:
2006-12+21 khaeru: might this be handled by the ubuntu-server-tasks spec?
  é
21/12/2006 - I think we should pick an existing suite, i.e. hula and then
create the ubiquitous middleware to achieve what we want

13/07/2007 (stephan-impilinux) - We have recently evaluated a load of
these solutions and have some professional experience in it.

2008-06-07 (pixelpapst) - Just a quick reminder that the hula project
ist effectively dead since late 2006, and the community created a fork
called bongo project. However, by now they ripped out all of Hula's
LDAP connectivity, which makes this a very pretty but useless solution
  for SmallBusinessServer.

2008-06-08 (Guy Van Sanden) Citadel seems a very good choice. IT offers
many features (including a Jabber server) and is completely GPL'ed.
The only caveat is that it does not have LDAP support (yet)

2008-06-19 (Art Cancro) -- yes, definitely go with Citadel. Ubuntu
packages are already being maintained, and the project would be
delighted to cooperate with the Ubuntu team on integration issues.

2008-06-19 (Todd Hanna) I would also like to give a big +1 to Citadel.
They already have the .debs and there is even a connector to use it as
an Exchange replacement if you have clients using Outlook. I have run
it without issue on Ubuntu server since version 6.06. It's head and
shoulders above the rest at the moment.. and it is easy to setup,
  update, and maintain.

2008-07-08 (Stuart Cianos) - I'll also give major points to Citadel, and
have been a longtime user of it. It is the only open-source groupware
package that is self maintaining and straightforward to configure.

2008-07-09 (Stephan Buys) - Please also dont forget Kolab (Citadel
implements the Kolab v1 format). Kolab has 3 plugins for Outlook,
support Horde Webmail, Thunderbird/Lightning and Kontact.

2008-07-09 (Guy Van Sanden) RE Kolab - Kolab is not a full groupware
AFAIK, it does not have a web interface. Correct me if I'm wrong.

2008-07-09 (Christian Merlin) Remember also SOGo
(http://sogo.opengroupware.org/) it use LDAP for users and PostgreSQL
for database. So It could be easy to integrate with Ebox (http://ebox-
platform.com/). So Ubuntu can became an'easy and powerfull groupware
  server like the commercial one.

2008-07-10 (Stephan Buys) Kolab does have a web interface (for admin and
email) through Horde (www.horde.org). Calendars, Contacts and Tasks can
  be shared between Outlook/Kontact/Horde/Thunderbird

2008-07-10 - Personally I prefer bongo, however it is still in its
infancy. It has a great UI, and is targeted at being simple to install
  and use

2008-11-14 - (Guy Van Sanden) Zarafa is becoming an option too. It was
AGPL'd recently and offers many features including CalDAV in the
  upcoming 6.30 release.

2008-11-14 - (Stuart Cianos) Only the server-side components of Zarafa
were opened up... There are still numerous proprietary functions that
are unavailable in the AGPL version. There are plenty of completely open
solutions out there (Horde, Citadel, Kolab, etc.) Personally, I use
Citadel (with Funambol for push e-mail) due to its funtionality,
reliability, speed and flexibility... They also have a fantastic
developer/user community that is supportive and communicative.

2008-11-15 - (Guy Van Sanden) @Stuart Cianos Actually most of it seems to
be in the AGPL version except for the client license required for Outlook
usage. Which is logical, if you are paying for closed source outlook you
should also pay for the connector...
I know about citadel, have been running it for 2 years but it does have some
issues and lacks certain features like LDAP integration.

2008-11-16 (Stuart Cianos) @Guy Van Sanden: Citadel will allow you to
authenticate against any service which support the underlying
authentication of the operating system (in this case, PAM). I have used
  this to authenticate users against PAM using modules such as pam_ldap;
additionally, it can automatically populate an LDAP directory with
information from its global address book for use with external clients.

2008-11-29 (Giorgio Zarrelli) I do not see eGroupware, what about it?

2008-12-01 (Guy Van Sanden) @Stuart: I tried PAM based authentication on
Ubuntu, but it only works with pam_unix and not pam_krb5 or pam_ldap for me.
Though I really like Citadel in many ways, it has too many limitations to use
it as a full-blown groupware server like Zimbra or Zarafa. Zimbra is nice, but
it really needs a dedicated server to run properly.
@Giorgio: eGroupWare is not a groupware server but rather a Web frontend to
other servers.

2008-12-01 (Giorgio Zarrelli) @Guy. I agree on Zimbra. It's too
expensive, not all people can afford a dedicated server just for a
groupware. Zarafa looks nice, but never tried it

The error message is :

ErrorMessage: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.16.0.0',

So the libmysql-client package needs to conflict with libmysql-client
since both packages provide the same file. Upgrades would make things a
bit more complicated.

Thinking about it more, it seems like it could be a hassle to most people

[Bug 639768] Re: Samba process gets hung on maverick update

2010-09-15 Thread Michael
I too had encountered this bug. I went to update manager and hit apply
updates. It got stuck on setting up samba for half an hour until I
followed johny's advice and type sudo service smbd stop in terminal.
The updates then continued on their own after that.

Or perhaps make those scripts more flexible?

if [ -x $some_user_definable_if_up_down_script ]; then
  exec $some_user_definable_if_up_down_script
fi

# otherwise, just continue doing what we, the distro, install for
ifupdown

[Bug 620441] Re: MySQL upstart stop job does not cleanly shutdown mysql

2010-09-15 Thread Mathias Gug
This bug should probably be backported to lucid as well. Accepting lucid
nomination.

To move the SRU forward, the next step is to prepare a SRU report as
outlined in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure.

[Bug 625882] Re: libdbi0: ABI breakage without package name change

2010-09-15 Thread Clint Byrum
After discussing this at length with Mathias Gug today, we've agreed
that this is too much change for very little benefit this close to the
release.

The only risk is that developers who compile 3rd party apps on lucid,
apps that use the error enums, may get unexpected results on maverick,
and vice versa.

As such, well be leaving libdbi 0.8.3 in Maverick, and suggesting a
release note be added so developers can be informed of the issue.

** Description changed:

+ RELEASE NOTE FOR MAVERICK
+
+ ===
+
+ The version of libdbi (0.8.3) has a known ABI incompatibility with
+ earlier versions of libdbi that have been distributed with past versions
+ of Ubuntu and Debian. As such, any software linked against libdbi.so.0
+ may give unexpected results if they utilize the 'dbi_error_flag' enum.
+ Recompiling these applications will resolve this issue.
+
+ ===
+
This was found in Debian this past week, and affects our 0.8.3 package
  as well.

  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=594607

  From the debian bug report:

The diff between libdbi 0.8.2 and 0.8.3 includes this:

- /* other type definitions */
-  typedef enum {
- - DBI_ERROR_USER = -1, DBI_ERROR_NONE = 0, DBI_ERROR_DBD,
DBI_ERROR_BADOBJECT,
+  /* other type definitions */
+  typedef enum {
+ - DBI_ERROR_USER = -1, DBI_ERROR_NONE = 0, DBI_ERROR_DBD,
DBI_ERROR_BADOBJECT,
  - DBI_ERROR_BADTYPE, DBI_ERROR_BADIDX, DBI_ERROR_BADNAME,
DBI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED
- ,
+ ,
  - DBI_ERROR_NOCONN, DBI_ERROR_NOMEM, DBI_ERROR_BADPTR
  + DBI_ERROR_USER = -10, /* must be the first in the list */
  + DBI_ERROR_DBD = -9,
- + DBI_ERROR_BADOBJECT,
+ + DBI_ERROR_BADOBJECT,
  + DBI_ERROR_BADTYPE,
  + DBI_ERROR_BADIDX,
  + DBI_ERROR_BADNAME,
- + DBI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED,
+ + DBI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED,
  + DBI_ERROR_NOCONN,
  + DBI_ERROR_NOMEM,
  + DBI_ERROR_BADPTR,
  + DBI_ERROR_NONE = 0,
  + DBI_ERROR_CLIENT
-  } dbi_error_flag;
+  } dbi_error_flag;

which changes the values of various error constants. That's an
incompatible ABI change, and should therefore have come with a SONAME
  change, AFAICT.
